JV Wildcats Lose at Luverne

By Rachael Joachim

The JV wildcats had another battle at Luverne on Monday the 14th. The boys had a bit of a slow start, with little focus and intensity.  They came into halftime down, 10 to 6.  By the time fourth quarter came around, they were playing their best football so far.

The top players were sophomores Micah Meyer, Devon Miller, and Austin Holtz.  Despite ending the game on bottom, 24 to 12, the Wildcats still managed to have some impressive plays.  Sophomore Riley Knoblock had a touchdown reception, junior Lucas knoblock had a touchdown run, and sophomore Nate Grotewold had an important fumble recovery.

Coaches Jared Vander Sanden and Kully Kramer said that in order for the boy to be successful, the boys would have to get a kick start and play consistently for all four quarters.
